  3. (evil) Now you've confused me LOL !! Hen F was beaten by hen C in a 392 miles channel race (by 1 minute) But hen C beat Hen F in a 317 miles race in 2008 Both hen C and hen F were beaten by another hen in the 317 miles race (we were 1st, 2nd & 3rd) but because this other hen topped the fed inland this year she wasn't sent over the channel to the longer races since we went on roundabout we have not had any winning cocks - only hens C and F are not related Are you saying to pair Hen C back to her father?
  4. Sire A x Dam B Produced hen C – Scored twice – including 1st club, 2nd Fed Sire D x Dam E Produced hen F – scored 3 times (2 x 2nds – beaten by loft mates and a 5th, 2 fed cards this year – 3rd & 12th) We have Sire A and Dam E (We don’t have Dam B or Sire D) Should these be paired together? We have a son of Sire D when paired paired to hen C Would this be a better option paired to Dam E (sorry if I have confused you all LOL !!) and I haven't a clue what we're going to pair to Hen C or Hen F !!

  12. A city is bracing itself for a frenzy of back-of-the-sofa searching and sock drawer ransacking after details were revealed of an unclaimed £5 million lottery prize. National Lottery operator Camelot said the £4,908,817 Lotto jackpot from Saturday August 29 was won by a ticket bought in the Sheffield area, but no-one has so far come forward to claim the prize. Now the search is on to trace the would-be millionaire. A spokeswoman for Camelot said the draw was made during the Bank Holiday weekend and, therefore, there's a chance the winner was visiting the Yorkshire city during the break. The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday February 25 next year to make their claim. The winning Lotto numbers were 9, 18, 34, 37, 39 and 47. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before this deadline the prize money plus all the interest it has generated will go to the Good Causes. The biggest ever unclaimed jackpot was one of £9.4 million. The unlucky punter in that case bought their ticket in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire in 2005 but never came forward to claim the cash. The Camelot spokeswoman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing jackpot prize could really make a difference to somebody's life. We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding." Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000. Camelot said two EuroMillions prizes are also outstanding from the Bank Holiday weekend - from the Cannock Chase District and Dundee area respectively. Both prizes are to the value of £119,777.50 and are from the draw on Friday August 28. The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 8, 36, 37, 41, 49 and the Lucky Star numbers were 5 and 7. The winning ticket-holders matched five main numbers in the draw.

  15. We made a mistake last year - not in jumping the birds - but laying them off racing for 2/3 weeks - then sending - the result was just 50% returns - 5 back from 10 - and only one on the day - 240 miles - they had all been to 160 or 170 mile races I would never do that again So - personally I wouldn't send the youngsters to Lillers
