  16. Rennes/Reims weekend the finest weekend in the calendar. You can have your Otterburns and Ypres but nothing beats getting a doo out the big race. Good luck to you all.

    After the Messac race 2011... I stood up at the AGM and asked why they didn't use a professional weather forecast service anymore. The Secretary at the time said they would discuss it and see if it was feasible to bring it back. I think it was stopped as they thought it wasn't value for money. Remember pigeon fanciers/controllers have the best interests of the birds and no way would I blame them like I didn't Blame Jim Hannah or Paul Calder at the time.Professional weather forecasters can see a lot more than Joe public can on a website.

  22. If you've never been i would encourge you to do it what an amazing place. The history of the 1st world war and the terrible deaths these young men suffered is heartbreaking. The war graves and memorials to these brave men is a sight to behold from the Somme,Arras and Ypres there is hundreds of graves sites.

  25. Off too France on Tuesday to watch the Ulster boys can't wait should be magic on the way back we are going to the Somme battlefields to pay our respects to the fallen of world war 1
