I have one left, In the year 2000 i raced with a local champ that had the best from G&K Hitchen, and we cleaned up, When i got my own loft i tried to get the strain back but with little success, out of 18 i bought in only the one was worth keeping, not many left in the area now, no one could replicate his winning with them, :-/

Mine are on the last and half way up,.................... most of them, I will be sticking to moult mix untill 2 weeks before breeding then i move to a breeding mix when i also add hemp seed to the mix ( 1 kg to 25kg) then i add 10% BOS PELLETS to the mix

My young this year held flights better than darkness young, but i got some birds in late feb and they were no differant, thats is whythis year i am not pairing so early, but i am going on the dark

I like to feed 3 times in the day when you have young in the nest, butthis is not always possible, the reason i would not hoper feed is coz i feed that way when racing, they dont take as much and lose weight quick, so i think this would happen with my young :-/

Add hemp to your corn to get them horny, have a deep litter for warmth, keep water from frezzing, i dont let the birds out coz i dont want them to leave chicks to long so you need to give them things the mis like salt (thin layer on a plate with grit,pick stone and red mineral is what i use) a week before turn the lights on untill about 10 o.clock to spark the hormones aswell, I had a full hatch rate last year for the first time ever, ( when they are on eggs stop using the lights, this helps stop them breaking eggs, Mark

25 to 30 mate, i bred 28 this year for the same size section, Not one flyaway, and finished with 26 after 1st and 2nd in the strongest club in the area, I have built bigger this year 9x6 and will be keeping the same amount, only for motivation so i can have pipos in it, the year before i had 25 in a 4x6 section with a 2 foot avairy that work just the same,, Just keep them clean and fit and you will not have a problem with 25 to 30 Two mates also have 6x6 and are keeping them the same this year, also I lost the least young birds in the fed

I use a garlic and cod liver oil every day on the corn, so i guess that Its mix, so it is one thing

perfect fit mate, looks good, I would get a lick of paint on it before the weather gets to bad

its used to hold the moult, the loft does not have to be pitch black,(dont close vent right up) 8 hours of light a day, it does not matter when you do it but i like it togo dark natural, you may find it hard to get them to moult after racing but you will get tips on that, i like to leave it so i can let them out after work, the mrs opens them when i ask her,

Good DVD but was over in no time at all, and dont tell you much, i think i would have done a better job than keith mott, worth watching thou, like you say best vanveets about and best sprint man in the rpra winning 1st and 2nd rpra srint awards, young birds 75 each

I was once like that, I would fight anyone and have a big rep, if people fear you and they cross your path you feel safe in the knowledge that you will win, They know this and you end up with a whole in you when you not expecting it, and I know, its best to stay away from the lot and just race your birds, the good thing is no one will fight me anymore anyway. And if you have kids the last thing you want is them to see is you turn into an animal But some times you do have to put your neighbors in there place

the dest dvd i have sen is keep them healthy 2, got the kieth arnold dvd but only 25 mins long, i was not to happy , i have read loads of books that are good, Marathon in the sky is one of the best i have seen too
