No one wants there bird to die slow like that, hand feed it and make sure it has water, If it was mine i would want you to put it down, but i cant speak for someone else

I dont keep stock and i dont intend too 16 racing cocks but was thinking about racing 16 hens this year, i dont like getting rid of hens that have done nowt wrong but 32 is a bit steep for me, and 30 to 40 young birds The problem is, i fly in one club, the lads i see with big teams and big lofts normally fly in 4 or 5 differant clubs and they need the birds, Also some big lofts are harder to spot ill birds and they end up going in baskets with our birds And like someone said we need the big lofts to send big number or there is no point winning imo, and it keeps the cost of racing down, what we should be doing is pulling feds together for bigger birdage, there is 3 feds in my area, coz no one wants to fly against the best flyers in the area, they run away You canstill beat big team flyers with a small team, just work harder,

Inverted vents, cut a hole and put a normal vent on it, then on the outside put ply wood over it closed at the top and open at the bottom

for the elec fence, just get a cheap car battery charger and a roll of wire and make you own one, gives a good belt, and dont cost much,

People that cant lose, if they dont win every week they give up,, they blame the birds and the transport and the position of the loft, When what they need to do is look in the mirror :-/

Racing them down the motoway, i can see them all the way some days, its a perfect line home, i never win like ;D

Everthing is great in this great sport of ours, i love when paired and the birds are clapping up and down, chasing each other up and down the roof,, Young birds learning to fly And i dont need to say, but , race day, when you see the wings lock and they drop like a stone, Happy times,

I won the club this year with using an STB, i had ets but was only having 2 young bird races so did not get the 30 rings for just 2 races, i was 1st and 2nd, from 70 miles, but if you can get ets i would as it is well worth it,

The same as me, no point winning one race, i want to get to the top and stay at the top at club level, then move on to nationals and do the same, with a small team of good pigeons
