  1. Might put a ylg l bred up for a laugh. :D :D :D
  2. Yes its sad and a sign of the times. Pigeon Fanciers dont help their selves though. Too many just sit back and moan at absolutely everything instead of getting of their backsides and either do something or support something. The appathy amoung fanciers (grown men) is nothing short of pathetic and it drives me up the wall.
  3. yes good stuff, well done to all :D :D
  4. Not that i know of m8.
  5. Welcome hope u enjoy it.
  6. Youve done pretty well there m8 well done!
  7. Av no even got ybs in nest yet lol, their only sitting 10 - 12 days, some less.
  8. Deffo a lot more helpful with a couple of extra needles. Its a pity they dont send the little bottle of surgical spirit anymore now with the vaccine. It was pretty good at cleaning the needles. However i had some left last time in a little bottle. Now need to go to chemist to buy more for next time.
  9. Never used it but mat try it in the future at some point.
  10. Think ur right m8, a little bit decline setting in. Still think in the last few years it was always going to be the Spanish clubs and the Germans. The Germans are on the up in the last couple of Euro tournaments and World Cup, thats basically down to their Football getting stronger at home. Its took the Germans a while but their right back in the shake up where they belong! Now that Spanish & German clubs are beginning to dominate the English or British clubs will find it very difficult to topple them imo!
  11. Sincerely hope that your yb races scheduled for a friday liberation from Ripon & Wakefield are a big success Henrick best of luck and great returns.
  12. Very sorry to read this news. I knew George and always found him very interesting to listen to. Big loss to the pigeon fraternity. Rip George.
  13. It looks horrible, but I admit pigeons love deep litter for some reason. Seems like their more at hope in a proper environment. Lets face it know one goes around town buildings cleaning out attics and derelict buildings for them do they! :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:
  14. Av been giving the pigeons some Garlic for about a wk. Now that thev'e laid i'll keep them off it for a wk or two then try it again but maybe only 3/4 days as yb's will be in nest. A good fancier once told me he didn't give them it while feeding ybs as it was a bit strong (acidic}for their well being. I think he has a point. He told me not to over do it, I think he was right. At other times Garlic is brilliant though I feel.
  15. I'm sure its J.Bee, Frank I think. Hope that's right m8. It was a Mr Heeps that built the loft his tel no is 01324-621115. Speak to John though i'm sure he should be able to help you, he was a friend of your late Father m8!
  16. Possibly John Baillie of Loanhead might be able to point you in the right direction m8! He was able to get a couple of guys he knew to build him a fair size loft of his own design and John is extremely pleased with it. These guys were in the central belt, so might be worth a call to John or a PM.
  17. yes ur spot on Big Man, Lanarkshire are getting some fantastic publicity just now. Great reading about fanciers in that neck of the woods and long may it continue.
  18. wouldn't risk it still too early imo.
  19. Nothing new there then.
  20. Happy Birthday Dyke a didnae ken ye were that auld lol.
  21. spoke a few times to Rab on the phone, found him to be a gentleman. Sincere condolences to the Family at this sad time.
  22. RIP IN PEACE Donald.
  23. Aye well done Celtic. Missed the game but seen the Liverpool Game. Baloteli finally scores for Liverpool from the penalty spot! :o :o
  24. Yes Jamie I thought I had read somewhere the NFC had changed their date for Saintes a few wks earlier. Don't know why as it was a good race for them and not too far at that time of the year, with birds in the moult etc. The BBC are a great club very friendly, always have been and will take members and their birds in from anywhere. Yes they always fly Bergerac or Bordeaux the last Saturday in July or first Sat in August. I'm sure the BICC also fly from Perpignan the first Sat in August. Seems a little late but not if they are in good feather. Anyway you'll manage to get birds up here from Bergerac/Bordeaux it'll be a doddle for you and yer dad.
  25. I would like to put something onto the Lanarkshire breeder buyer, bum i'm not paired up yet so wont have a yb ready for April 12th. Do you need a ring no by a certain date and if so when is that lads.
