Nowt much wrong with beans. Just a matter of how much of them we need to feed. For instance how much of them during racing,rearing, moulting and in the off season after the moult. Im always interested to hear how much beans fanciers feed especially in the build up to a channel race.

Well done that bird. Only wish i had some at the race, the 3 birds i had intended to send are injured. 2 of them have scored before so its a sore one for me. So no luck there. Lets hope some more make it tonight and early tmorrow. Good luck guys and hope returns are good!

A very honest and open post Del, well done. Can hardly be any more frank than that, but sadly some wont like it as they cant handle the truth. It would be good to see some of these things taken in board instead of it all being forgotten about after racing is finished. I pesonaly have no axe to grind with anyone and didnt loose a pigeon as none were sent, the controllers and convoyers have done nowt wrong but people need to stop wearing blinkers and try and sort things out for the good of the pigeons for ultimately is is them who suffer. Realy feel for the guys with some realy good birds missing, hope they turn up soon.

Thanks guys, the reason i ask is that i have a pigeon reported in the area. The finder might be willing to go to the racepoint with the pigeon this wkend or next and hand it over to a convoyer heading north. The pigeon could either be liberated somewhere suitable or i can meet the driver.
