I had 6 in one race The race yesterday was a stiff one with very low velocities .Ive heard fanciers saying it was too hot or they must have clashed I think the BOPS had a big big part to play. Its that time of year when they are teaching there young how to hunt and a easy meal is our Y/Bs

I had sent 20 birds for there 1st race yesterday to Brechin Up till now I have 14 back 6 which have been hawked that accounts for one third of the birds I had at the race. I dont know if I wish tso continue the rest of the Y/B programe as I feel sick of whats still to come. I dont suppose Im the only one that this happened to yesterday. Dont sit in silence and hope the bop problem will go away get online now and express your views I dont know what the answer is but Im sure the SHU could take a more active roll than there are doing now. If this continue' there will be no pigeon racing in the future.

Try chips I ve just done 3.1/2 tones and the garden looks brill any plants/shrubs will be potted easier to maintain and there mob if you want to move them out of the doos way.

I canny keep fighting if I have no birds left. Im retired and started up again to enjoy sitting out in the garden watching my birds come home from racing Watch them have a bath ect Not to be ripped to pieces in front of my eyes and be helpless to do anything about it ( ITS SO BLOODY SAD. )

I have just returned to the sport . I have spent a few grand on Loft/Stock/and everything else that goes with the sport. This was to be my first season racing, to which I was looking forward to. My birds have been locked up all winter due to peregrines in the area . My young birds are needing out as they are getting strong on the wing. This morning I put out 2 spare cocks to test the air withing five minutes a hen peregrine pinnned the blue cock in my neighbours garden I was over the fence and it flew off The cock is not badly damaged and will come ok. Im sitting just now thinking about packing it all in . I feel I wasting my time and my money just to feed Bops Its very depressing Im going to give it till the end of the week and the decide what to do
