I had the same problem I put carpet gripper around the fence I also put 1/4 inch square mesh around the top of the loft about 8 inch high leaving a jagged edge Since the I have never seen a cat near the loft

It use to be that years ago all birds shown in a flown class the owner had to produce a flown certificate that was produced and signed by the club sec. So if you won a prize it was only on a tempt base till the certificate was produced . I think you were given 7 days Im sure thats how it use to work years ago
