"maybe they're sitting in somebody's loft and they cant be bothered " Sounds about right or they just killed them out of hand some people ...I reported a yb early in May was asked to keep or well you know I took it to within a mile of home loft and libbed it dont know what happened to it seems thats the way it is nowadays ..

I have lost 16 ybs so far only one reported .might be because they have SU rings I get hammered by BOP but I'd have thought more would have been reported BOP didn't get them all might not manage a team if this continues really disheartening ....might just end up keeping them as pets only ...

Well things getting bad here have female percy and what looks like 3 suitors taking up residence quartering regularly lost 2 birds yesterday this morning took pic of this on back fence 4 foot from loft justwziting for breakfast barsteward had one last thursday from loft top which I managed to rescue .....Whats the point.... Think its an opal mealy got one much the same ..seen one years ago block who had it called it a smokey mealy .but I think they're called opal nowadays although think myself that smokey suits them better..
