So fk rab an hour out , that's not ALL DAY , , I am not racing mines I can only see what's going over my mate matt Luke's loft , going over in droves , 50/60 at a time prob seen around 300/ birds in half an hour , then birds going back up the water . In 4,s and 5,s . Prob about 20/30 . If u want the race ontrollers job then get aff yer *expletive removed* and get to the AGM .

Yes there is plenty needing sorted del but on here is IMHO not the place to do it.

Listen its no a political thing , just convoying together to a race ,lib together , a Scottish race controller , and. Only Scottish birds on transporter all coming into Scotland , not stopping half way up the road .and asking our great pigeons to keep going for another 200/300 miles .

Never mind inland races 21st June. Ypres 4th July. Reims/alencon 11th July Troyes. And go with the snrpc. As a start of possible reconciliation 18th July. Clermont. /arras If anyone wanted an inland race then go with their federations or amals/ combines Jmho

I've been told hat an average pr of peregrines when raising young eat 3 pigeons / day , now multiply that by how many prs. That's in the uk this is why our great sport is dieing . I've not raced youngsters for a few years now and not gave them many tosses as young either I raced my yearlings out to 200/250 miles well most of them , I have around .30% of mines left as apposed to losing 50% as young and then around 30%of them that's left as yearlings . So I'm doing my bit to starve the bassas

Forgot to mention Percy Michael , dehydrated pigeons for Percy. ,like taking sweeties off a wean .

Will we learn a lesson from this race or just forget like it never happened ?, yes pigeons made it home champions every one of them , but no matter how bad a race is there is always birds home , but IMHO most had no chance of completing the race due to the temps , plus it's been bone dry for weeks meaning there was not many places to stop off and get a drink ,ie on flat roofs ,gutters etc , so most would have stopped due to dehydration . And early on in the race too jmho .

Very well done to all who braved the temperatures and timed very good pigeons , especially jock Alston , top top fancier. Myself? Well I chickened out. With the extra day in basket the extreme heat , we all knew it was going to like this . Hope more work there wy home , dehydration is a worse killer than BOPS .

I have won many a time as well John ,but I'm not sending , I will wait till next year for a silver award , I'm more concerned about the birds than winning end of ,good luck to all who have a go .
