I spoke to a very prominent national man yesterday at length on the dog and bone , he agreed this snfc needs a shake up from the TOP to the bottom , and get it back to where it used to be , he told me of things that he witnessed at marking , ie taking rubber ring numbers off the national sheets for club secretary,s to check after time in , this to me is I big big no no , security is surely a must .

The snrpc went to Portsmouth. A few years back when they couldn't get into France , it was a great race ,with really good returns

That's twice I've asked what lorry will be taking the gold cup birds ,I will be sending two ,but would like to know what lorry anyone ? Maybe just wait 24 hrs and send them to Reims .

Also if you squeeze the doweling together they bend very easily so be warned ,think its a thing that should be looked at , possibly a welded spar in the centre of the back portion of the crate .

So it's all down to your location not about having good racing from a certain race , I could not care less where we race from as long as we have good returns .

Geo Ypres is probably the fairest race on the snfc Callander , IMHO , it's been a great race since its inception with great returns ,yes there will prob be a disaster at some time , but this can and has happened to nearly all the race points . For me it's a great stepping stone for pigeons first time across the channel/ water , I rejoined the snfc with this race in mind , as I try and get them from Ypres , last year my first and second section clermont were at Ypres 3 weeks before , and if you could get yearlings out of it then imho are good candidates for the gold cup the following year .
