I will be at the AGM ,if I'm not working ,so I await to hear anyone stand up at meeting and state what's been said on here , I heard the same crap last year about the Cheltenham fiasco and not a thing was said at last years AGM . So come on guys leave all your moaning for the AGM . And I must say the birdage is a true reflection of the hard/bad races the west have been getting not just this year but it's gradually getting worse. Good luck to all this weekend .

Geo it was me that mentioned about race controlling ,why as I'm getting it in the neck for yesterday from our fed guys ,so was just asking If anyone thought the birds should not have been up ????. Great wee guy to talk to every Saturday as weel tam . Even if were no where near each other I still get a call or I call him .

I proposed this a few years back at Glasgow Feds AGM , for the cross over races , was shot down , but IMHO the only way forward .good luck guys .

Wrong rab not heavy rain at lib site at all , I made the call after looking through various weather sites forecasts , yes Lanarkshire could get a race early ,but us in the west wouldn't , with rain and wind forecast fir mid morning with gusts up to around 30 mph , yes winners coold get home but if it was a tough one then most would struggle ,think Ayrshire have cancelled also

Still trying to come to terms with this happening to a good friend ,can't find the words . Thought you beat it or had it under control frank . We all know you as wee frank , but with your strength your a giant in all our eyes . God bless you mate .

I agree robert I did say to the powers at b , it would be better to go to Dunbar miss st Boswells and go to otterburn , even the president wanted that , he spoke to senior vp and two jvp,s and was outvoted 3/1 ,

My mate matt Luke just came in he had28/32 st Boswells last night and one this morning , plus he won the club he is a happy chappie.

I was pleased for the guy that won the averages but the other guy didn't just win the early races he won from first old bird race to last And from first young bird race to last . Just one in betweener he failed IMHO he was the club champion not the guy who's name was on the trophy .

Got to agree with Paul here , I can remember years ago one guy in our club won or nearly won every race bar one a disaster ,where he never timed as did most ,the guy that timed from that race well his name went on the trophy as average winner ,but apart from that one race he would have been about 2days behind the other guy . Oh and it wasn't a Chanel race that was a bad one it was a mid distance race .a one day race , he got one early next morning as well ,but race was closed .

Might not be a bad thing John ,especially if you get a bad race or two ,meaning not many left for the last race .

I'm not sure John , nowt to do with me , committee will decide , but to be honest won't make a bit of difference as both races are same distance , , Dunbar to me is 82 miles and st Boswells is 82 miles .

I asked for members to be notified ASAP . I asked about a race on Monday but it was felt that members would be unhappy ,well the guys that work anyway . So it was decided to cancel altogether .
