  1. Why is that robert ? It was an honour to be on the SNFC committee .and the SNRPC . Think it was the convenor that used to asked fanciers to help out long before the date George .
  2. Come on Gary , wit about Taylor doing that to Gary after 2nd set. Fkn wee *expletive removed* .
  3. 33 darter fk me I'm entering next year I could do that every leg lol.
  4. Back to snfc stuff . Has no one else have anything to say about race marking . I remember being asked to do a table in airdrie years ago it was an honour and a privilege to do it ,now well any one that wants to do it can and some couldn't handle a pigeon correctly if they were paid For it. I would like it to get back to the way it was and be the top club in Britain again . From the way the AGM is run to the way the committee members are asked , you used to have to be proposed and seconded to be a committee member ,now they co opt fanciers onto the committee . Wrong wrong wrong .jmho .
  5. No probs mate ,have you a good map or will I bring one ?
  6. I will sit down with you one day robert and show you on a map my logic. It would have been very hard robert it was a gale force west wind that day , think she just flew well on into the night and got well ahead. That's my honest opinion .
  7. You know the story mate I wasn't at the loft ,I was away training birds for the following race . Steven I never get birds out the south never trust me ,mines have always come from the east . Always right down the Clyde.even blow homes when they are high up east to west .
  8. I've raced pigeons since 1979 and I have only ever had birds direct out the south once or twice in that time , winning the club fed section in the nationals every pigeon have returned from either the east or most times the north east even when we raced down the west of the Pennines .unless I stay in a different planet from the rest of you .
  9. If the race was from say sartilly they would still have returned from the east only problem is you would have been further behind the east winners
  10. Don't get that one Steven ,IMHO less chance of a dog leg racing from easterly race points . And I am in the west .
  11. I would also like it to go back the way it used to be , you were asked to do the marking stations , not just ask anyone in the halls to handle birds going to a national , I have seen and heard some horror stories of some handlers .
  12. Big Phil is a nice guy but cannot conduct a meeting . Don't think it will matter what gets voted in , I'm sure it could be changed to suit .
  13. A stinker here in the Wild West of Scotland.
  14. Rest in peace George.

  16. Very well done to Gareth and to all the names put up ,think they all had cracking seasons .
  17. Think it all depends on the sire and dam if they are very closely related, if so a cross if not pair uncle to niece and aunt to nephew . I'm sure you will know what to do John .

    Attn Hotrod

    It's done rab
  25. Think if you won the club/section but are nowhere in fed then u are nowhere , I would rather be 5th or 6th in club/section and be 5th 6th fed ,than 1st club/section and not in overall fed result . Jmho .
