  1. Showers about but should get a race if up before 7/8 o,clock JMO
  2. Is that a japs eye pad
  3. Not saying you are rab but just sometime there is no hard and fast ans. to it and as I said I think it's a few things that causes this
  4. I think wee are trying to be too clever here doo,s aren't daft well most any way if thirsty they will go to the drinkers well the clever ones the rest won't matter what you do they won't take it in just look at your y birds sometime they take ages to learn to go in the bath some time they use it right away
  5. I said it on sat it was pissing down in Central Scotland all morning and as far west as I could see over the forth to the Armadale hills with the west in the wind that should have put your birds over that area so 10/20 ml of that would explain the birds being wet but what happened to the theory if they get a good start they will come threw rain I believe they will and controllers can't wait to get it perfect all the way home yes the controllers that liberate birds like the nipa did should be removed no excuse for that but here wee go looking for some one to blame it an accumulation of a no of things the biggest being Percy no doubt about that here but that's doo racing for us the one week wonder will be forgot on on sat afternoon it's happened for years
  6. They are all different I've separated y/ bds and two weeks later they still haven't left the loft I've also had them come out the next day once out the loft they can take off so if at a strange location they might try for where they were bred I've had that happen too so if bobbing up and down it's just your luck
  7. Nice one Jim well done
  8. I think wee are getting carried away with clashing believe me you,s will know when you clash yes the odd fancier/ doo,s will get threw on time but that will be it for hrs or even days many other reasons for yesterday and maybe a wee bit of each yes it is part and parcel now to get the later birds back hawked that's just because they are still/ only targets after the racers have passed and Percy has had there 1st strike and split them the bad thing is that that could happen 6/10 in one race bad weather untrained birds late breds wee could go on and on that's life wee just need to get on with it and as delboy says get of your erase and try and do something if every fancier tried it once per season I don't think wee would put a big hole in our main problem
  9. Got 1 this morning 18/18
  10. This is the week I hate most wee have all crossed over one another makes it very hard for controllers wee were at Rippon with prob at least 5/6 south roaders at Catterick/ scotch corner the same for the boys south of Birmingham and the welsh boys and with side winds it's even harder if it was dead north/ south the birds are at different heights if they get a chance
  11. Now up to 15/17
  12. Well off the pace for me but 11/17 gappy birds looking for water

  20. I would just like to comment that it seems all the Feds that went the western route have had a hard time Ayrshire midland etc could the prob be partly that route and that corner from Penrith to charnark Richard I was actually cuming round to going back down that route but looking at this year and the last few years iam not convinced yet JMO
