George we built a new loft and kept the ybs in the old loft while it was being built. Once the new loft was ready the birds were transferred and the old loft taken down. This was between the last young bird race and the yb national and it didn't make no difference to them. Yb's who have never lived anywhere will not know any different and am sure this will make no odds when it comes to racing. The loft is scrapped everyday with the birds still in the loft. Its all about routine and the birds enjoy the interaction well all bar one who looks at me as if id invaded his home. This is followed by some handling and playing with the birds then its dinner time. Got a great wee routine this winter :-)

Really enjoyed reading this thread. Very encouraging to see the great results that can be won flying into our area with some know how and a one track mind! I see Derek along with J & J Hood as our direct competition in years to come so no pressure there! going up against some of the best in the business will only make us better as well :-)

Yeah it was a good choice to make. I spent 20 points on transfers a few weeks back and totally changed my team and now its starting to pay off. I have had a good start to November and i think it will continue. Made up a good few points on the leader this last two game weeks.

Yeah! Aguero won player of the month but city have lost on last 3 visits to stadium of light 1-0 and aguero has played a lot of football in the last 2 weeks and I have a suspicion he might be on the bench. So what to do with my captain? I think I will go safe and take Suarez, Fulham are mince at the moment.

I will say 2 year old because that's where our 2 year olds are going next year :-)

I am more worried about RAF jets causing huge damage to teams of birds in the middle of nowhere! nobody to see it happening and they are not likely to report it. How do we find out how often and where they are flying? no chance of ever finding that out. Perhaps they do show up on a radar but how would they be able to do something about it, the doo's would be over and away in a flash!

I was in the loft last night when the neighbours were setting them off and there was not a doo on 2 feet the whole time. When its zzzzzz time its zzzzzzz time! :-)

How many shots would they fire off at a batch of doo's flying over an airport? I doubt very much its the figures stated! they wouldn't have the time to take so many. Still it explains losses into Cumbernauld with our airport being such an international hub and all that!

How were they allowed to get away with that? Are people that irate that they cant have a proper discussion? What is the internet voice at that meeting? There are some very prominent flyiers in the national online with an opinion.

Terrible news! sorry to hear this guys. If there is anything we can do to help with birds etc we are only to happy to help. This confirms that security should be something we are thinking about a lot more. We installed two cameras in the loft feeding into the computer and tv.

why have you bid £200 when you had the last winning bid of £160 ? Sorry mate just re-read the page, you missed out this time. Will leave that to Harky to decide though. Well pleased with our purchases :-)
