So sorry to here of this ,when i came back into birds 4/5yrs ago went to Bobs to buy a bird or two from him ,i came home with 13 un rung birds he put me in a section and told me to help myself as he hidna the heart to kill them all for nothing ,Rest in peace Bob my sympathies to the family .

I have a few of them ,that explains how i lose them at over 100mile out LOL

IMO its the little fancier with the small number of birds thats putting up good performances week in week out in Europe that need to be studied and bought from ,if you look up some of the well known studs and fanciers selling birds they have pigeon lofts the size of small hamlets and breed an exceptional amount of young to flood the market with rubbish but on saying that i have this or that strain like everyone else.

IMO no virus will clear up that quick ,i think you cure the symptoms and the bird is on its way to recovery but the viral infection takes time and the bird takes a little patience and time to recover ,this treat one week and race the next leaves room for spreading problem.

Thats a good map STB shows things for what they are .

200 mls to the channel ,flat ground no obsticals in his way ,small fed area ,they could fly kites in their area LOL

Terrain ,and racing to a small area by that i mean a city ,small federation area ,birds converge on small area not finding to much difficulty in locating own loft ,IMO could try no training but on a large fed need training ,but on saying that they all require basket training of some sort so they dont hang about in basket at liberation .
