Happy birthday lads

I have a couple of trees at the spare ground next to me ,crows, a couple of pair nest every year along with couple pair of wild doos ,the crows try to take the youngsters when they are at the stage they are just hoppin about,i find they are good for keeping the birds exercising and flying.

Whats the difference between the 200 and the 500 is it just the pocket clock ,+ the abillity to clock doos after you are away to club ,am i right on thinking this.

Na he is a pensioner and neighbour so glad he is able to do it,and hes very fussy

Not very nice but glad yer sorted .

The guys got half the slabbin job done the last couple of days ,and it will depend on weather as regards little shed ,but tons of time until April

Gettin the whole back yard slabed 2x2s ,126 slabs ,I have a young bird shed 7x4ft since i wont be racing young doos i am takeing off front of shed and in whats left i am making a kit box 800mm deep by 1mtr high x 2.1mtrs long ,in it i have put 15 perches the floor is 18mm ply with 4 plastic floor grills ,under this i will keep baskets ,hopefully i will get a dozen youngsters in there .

Good morning fowks .

IMO the answer to that is ,dedication,good management,a system that works for them ,sticking to a strict regime ,and lots of road work and training ,the also rans like myself dont put in enough work on the road .My hat comes of to these guys .And of course them racing 30 doos against my 10 lol.

Whats the 10 good traits yer lookin for like ,if they handle ok to suit me ,and they look promising thats what criteria i go by ,I dont think a winner can be bred ,i think they are born or the hit rate would be more than one in a hundred all the said supper stock men would be pumping them out eh ??

My youngsters took it the start of young bird racing to the day 3years ago have not had it since why it happened dont know ,why i havent taken it again dont no ,but in my opinion there is no preventative just a cure when you get it and always be on the look out for the signs ,and dont shove them in the race baskets after a week IMO they take 3/4 weeks to get back to normal.
