I brewed a lot years ago ,start with some of the beer kits you get tae buy first then check out what you can do with hops i also made wine Blackcurrant ,Raspberry ,rice and raisin ,and Rowan berry it was awfy fine it was pinkish and if you was carefull with it you could get a sparkling wine .

But surely if its beneficial to all concerned the race committees could start talking now together to decide race points and dates then bring it back members by mail where by a vote can be taken ,we are not pressed for time its nigh on 4months to the start of racing there is time for change.

IMO i still think its a good idea Aberdeen & North of Scotland and lads above if they want transporting together and racing together when ever poss ,birdage wise it would help all concerned ,it was a good idea at the time and still could be Ali Sim set it up to enhance the racing it just got a bit off track.

Years ago there was a Grampian Combine but what i think stopped it was when they took in Dundee to race in it IMO transporting and having combine result is a good idea but keeping it between Aberdeen & North of Scotland fed ,by the way when it split up i am led to believe all trophies stayed with Dundee fed ,this is just what i remember other guys might know more.

Europe has probably never been clear of this PMV since the last episode ,they are great at issuing directives and rules but lax when it comes to practising said rulings

My birds have been shut up for the last 3 weeks not because of weather etc but the bluddy sparrow hawk ,the hen disappeared from here a while ago so i think its the cock bird thats the problem ,maybe the weather will get it,hunger i hope

Is £16 a box about the price of them ? I remember one year in the 80s i grew tobbacco in the garden myself ,start it of in the green house and plant it out like an annual ,it grew plants about 5ft tall with big leaves after flowering cut and hang up in shed to dry ,it did smoke but strong jesus !!

On hoppers (metal) ,and feeding Protien economy in them .

I wonder if its because we interfere too much when racing with our the fanciers regime ,ie out morning then night train then not now ,set routines ,special feeds,amounts of feeds ,weight of corn per bird it goes on and on ,for byes the winter water and feed and just let them out ,my doos are the same in winter just bouncin and i hardly look near them ,yer not the only one thinking about changing things believe me.

Aye doors open wide tae the wall,water checked and refreshed ,birds lookin great path sand down ,now leave them in peace.
