IMO yes i can see you are a formidable flyer in your own field ,but distance flyers up here in the SNFC section G are flying on average 150 miles further than their counter parts in central Scotland ,i dont want to to take any thing from your results but ,flying south straight forward with regards to terrain ,flying south with regards to long distance your birds are getting rough terrain prior to leaving Scotland then it is plain sailing home ,wind ,pull ,etc which can and does interfere with allour hopes ,your feeding ideas are very informative

  8. What i meant was you said a bird bred by a mr Geddes was it ? was your first doo hame in 5 races and i said it takes only 1 doo but i havnt found it yet ,so reason for me trying and buying ,the cage is how i settle in comers tae my shed ,good luck for rest of season

  10. At long last was able to get photos on with help ,but would recommend Richards birds IMO they are crackers.

These are new birds from Bryngwynt Lofts that i can say are some of the best youngsters i have been lucky enough to acquire this year from Richard Gould ,he was a pleasure to deal with and looked after my interests through out the process ,a gent to deal with .These photos show them having their second look around

  17. Yes i would think Tuesday/Wednesday as i have been trying this and the doos dont eat a lot on Friday so by then its to late IMO .
  18. Hi i didnt have doos away to SNFC race but IMO though the drinkers are there dont you think the number of birds in the basket also would determine the ease that the birds can get to the water ,how many birds were in the crates as a matter of interest.

    God some times the strength and determination of the doos amazes me ,we raced from ripon the day up at 6.00 and i had a doo at 9.00 the night ,hole in the crop ,wing feathers missing ,and a tear at the back of the head and neck ,hawk i would think also flown down ,and it still wanted tae fight other cocks, game buggers eh
