Could be right I used to train my birds right next to an mod site that the low flying jets use down the nith valley not a problem the doos don't come up the valley now and all I can see thats changed is its reeming way bop doos ain't daft they stay well clear of that valley now

Not many getting reported Gareth your right doos to the corners of the country and theres that many bop compared to 20 years ago the doos that would normally work home are tired and getting picked off also doos thats scrounging about bird tables etc trying to get a pick are getting nailed by the sparrow hawk dosent matter what way they turn there doomed think of the doos thats lost each season I reckon ayrshire lose around 10000 a year and a handful reported where are they I hardly see a stray doo theses days

The reason for that is if you keep note of the winds you'll notice that in a head wind you'll get good racing and returns as the birds are down low where as on a glorious day a day we says perfect for racing you get blootered cause the doos are up high and easy prey seen it too often am 30 ybs missing and havent had them in a basket yit I know all about them and there habits

Here's something to mull over am mates way the the guy that rings these birds a top man in the bto etc he tells me each nest in a season will have on average 300 rings in it i know of atleast 20 sites in ayrshire that's 6000 doos give or take our transporter holds 3000 birds thats it emptied twice in a season way the locals albeit they'll not all be ayrshire birds but not many Feds pass through here maybe in a strong east wind you might get te odd doos and the odd Irish doos as they lib here but most will be ours this is happening all over these figures are facts give or take also if youve got two and three year olds thats been winning well and you lose them at a short toss bearing in mind theyve been flying way 4g whats happened maybe everyone sent texts at the same time lol also doos have better eyesight than us ive libbed doos at training and they don't want to come out the basket but ive looked alround and seen nowt also had birds drop out the batch and go back in the basket petrified to go in the sky as they know whats ahead and it ain't mobile signals

Gareth your club result tells its own story ramage 1st and 4th nearly 200ypm between them and wins the club with 230 odd doos competing by over 100ypm the result should of been over in minutes if not less and am sure the winner wasnt immune to mobile signals I'd hazard a guess it got home without getting spooked but ive been wrong before lol

I can't remember the last time a batch of doos hit the fed and it was the trap that separated the winners now you can win a race below 100mls by 20 mins birds fly in a flock always have so why don't they hit the fed like they used to ? Simple bop 4gs a load a mince if youve 30 birds at a race all in the same condition and breeding and you win the race lose 6 and the others take all day to come how can it be 4g or any other signals the moon in the sky etc the loft should be shut up in minutes from short races only problem is theyve been scattered to the four winds and some are in hiding thats why there's the huge gaps come on guys youve had them long enough and been blootered many a time losing top pigeons from silly races and never to turn in as there deed get heads together and consentrate on what the real problem is instead of skirting round it way silly theories just think what could of been this weekend way all he losses your going to loss them regardless so lets not lose them for nothing

Well said andy Kyle theres always some get descent returns and there's always doos in race time but on the whole the returns are dreadful 90 percent due to bop even the shxte should home in behind the winners not days later from a stones throw only problem is there either eaten or miles away flown out so no point in looking for any other excuses theres only one

I had the same problem turns out it is the base station and not the pad try another station and I'd bet the pad is fine

The reason only a handful complete the program is their cleaned oot way Percy no other reason even the rubbish should come home every member has injured birds or good birds missing or blootered at the garden or short tosses the county's infested way them everyone arguing at clubs falling out all down to the losses nothing else the quicker there's a plan in place to sort it the better

Should be going to Portsmouth its on the program and is the furthest inland race this year and everyone has measurements as well I've no interest in going to Eastbourne or the likes over in the east side back to Portsmouth it central for all

Should of been racing today Charlie birds should be going on a Friday regardless especially at 90ml your going to get a chance to go at some point I would only delay if it's to a total washout if it's 50/50 you go imo
