I can change that to any snfc race to be honest John for example you could be 20 hours behind the winner of the national in ayrshire and still win the region I personally wouldn't be sticking my chest out at that but some think this is fantastic flying infact the winner could of been sent back and still beat the region winner home but this is only my take on the subject most national winners will pass by dozens of top lofts on their way home i wonder how many lofts the Ypres winner past last season ? For me its hats off to the winner irrespective of where you live and not taking the edge of the winner by saying the best doo in the race was 30th open the winners the best simple as that

Got to disagree geordie as you could win the section 6 times from the ybn in ayrshire and not get an open position but win it well thats something else your all in the same transporter and all have the same chance imo

The bird ,horse,athlete,that wins is always the best not the 3rd,4th,5th or what ever werent good enough on the day the winners the best I don't see anyone at the club hut saying well done you were 5th its always the winner that gets the handshake

same at national level when people rant on about this person and that person has got good national winning doos yet they have never won a national only timing in them

Nobody remembers second prizes or silver medals only the winners Andy that's what we're all trying to achieve

Don't know if I'm right as am no rule book fanatic but I think you have to be a member of the shu to fly way the snfc ?? If this is right i think a proposal of everyone with a scottish address should be able to fly way the snfc I stand corrected if I'm wrong but if I'm right I think this would be a good proposal and maybe make for more birdage but as I say I'm not up way the politics of the doos am sure someone on here will keep me right

east vs west again ive heard some wahoo in recent times of the renfrew and ayrshire doos going as far as dundee before turning hahahahahah what a lot of mince why is it in strong east winds you can count on one hand birds that used it to their advantage yet when its strong west winds the east as far as the north section pile them in simple gid birds this year the solway boys had a great season with the national yet were only an hours fly north but were three and four hours behind them just not got the doos for the job simlpe as that imo theres been races won in the east in recent years when the cental and west should of cuffed them due to the wind but failed again i personally think its the calibre of bird but i might be wrong its definetly not the terrain thats P*** talk atb for 2015
