Sorry Walter but you need to look again at the results as there are fanciers down there that have results just as impressive as billy,s who in my opinion is a top class fancier on merit . Billy has only won his section once over 500 mls when you see the results of lee,s ,Cree s , and lots more I think he has a way to go to match the bosworths ,virtue,s ,Thomsons ,etc but I,m sure billy himself would admit it's a work in progress. When you look at yb nat s over the years very few have been won outside the area . If only it was like that through here . Jmo

Another nice pigeon . I had the best off mr mrs Deacon but have to be honest they failed in west of Scotland maybe I never gave them the time but were all nice pigeons and still have a few crossed with the Gilbert's & coopers pigeons . Just love the dark cheq,s and would love a loft full . Best of luck with them .

There are lots doing well ,look up the bicc results you will be surprised at some of the performances from lesser known lofts , But in my opinion it depends where you are racing as some birds can't cope with certain area,s .

Some very good birds up for sale here , tempted but can't go .john leggate s x Derek hays x Morris brothers or best lofts in west Davy donaldson or jock Alston all class plus the rest , great selection . What's your choice

I m afraid I think You are correct but also lots are breeding birds that can't get home from short distances and won't send to long distance so not testing our birds but I fear the Percy and their supporters have us beat and no amount of talking will sort it , all web sites are scared to print anything detrimental to the peregrine so we can't talk about what we can do for ourselves to get rid of the problem . Very hard times ahead along with virus they have us beaten .
