Dunno Derek i heard early on they had won the UK & Ireland but never heard the European scores. A certainly won't be in the least bit surprised if they have the best overall.
-
Coefficient over 5 cstagories Derek, start under 100mls to over 450mls. Am sure they won 3 of the 5 categories outright and their coefficient would have been even better (13.8 instead of 15) if they had included their Fed Section positions. Next best to them had a coefficient of 19 i believe so they were out on their own, 👠ðŸ‘

Unless there is very good reason to change it then Reims should be the Permanent racepoint. Change for changes sake has only served to cost the Gold Cup some of it's identity, Everybody used to know where Rennes was and the significance of it but now (my self included) Fanciers can hardly remember what racepoint was used when. Hamilton town hall is my earliest recollection Peter then Airdrie, nowadays it changes too often imo but bird flu put the sh*ters up NLC who immeditely imposed a ban on doos in their premises. Now a little more lenient but we've been pretty much nomadic since the marking station was moved fae Airdrie.

Pretty much exactly as i do Wiley. Have never had any problem with hens getting scalped because the block (half brick) lets them up out the Cks way. The yearling Cks can be too territorial and won't let the hen back into the box when let out in the first two or three days so i let those particular Cks into the aviary with their intended hen until they settle down. It's only ever one or two a season so it's no anything that worries me.

Are you still accepting entries for this show ??

Aye Ian thats exactly what they get, ye widnae know there was a financial crisis looking their monthly pay cheque and the "work" they do for it. Also whilst there were some Expenses fraudsters taken to task and prosecuted the practice continues uninterrupted !!! 😡

The pools winners at the bottom of a result are not allocated a position. It is necessary to have this info printed because fanciers would ask where the pool money went to if their pooler arrived in race time but there was no evidence to indicate where the pool money had been payed out. Theoretically a fancier can return his clock for verification at any time until the 400ypm threshold is reached and should be issued with a velocity as there may be other averages in club competitions that the SNFC races are included in, the Social Circle being one such club so a fancier who times in race time is entitled to an official velocity but does not reserve the right to be put on the result when the bird has not won SNFC pools or prizes.

Despite your hubby making a single claim they want your info to assess the Household incone. If you are on a decent wage they will tell him YOU can support him until he finds work. They will also demand he continues to sign on even though they give hom nowt. It's a complete Racket and designed to screw every last H'penny off decent hard working folk. Makes me sick !!

Very true Davie and the civilised amongst us can exchange them without trash talk and fall outs.

Have to admit i wasn't a fan of the 1 in 10 over the 1 in 15 when it came in for the very reasons you highlight. 1 in 5 would include inferior pigeons i guess but it also gives a wee bit recognition to the bird and fancier alike. The longest race is very unique and extremely difficult so the reward of 1 in 5 sits ok with me. There will be years when its "easier" to get a doo than others and these are the years 1 in 5 is lenient but overall the difficulty of getting a timer from it is worth giving a certificate ti they doos. Think it highly unlikely a bird would compete 5 years running from it and more unlikely it would score every time sent so if one or even 2 of its performances for a Gold Award are made up frim the 1 in 5 rule i wouldn't grudge the doo its credit. Jmo Davie but wouldn't argue the point if it was done away with.

Am inclined to the 1 in 5 Davie, 1 in 10 from Ypres is a far easier task for the birds than 1 in 5 from Ancensis not only due to distance but the much smaller convoy too. So giving tickets 1 in 5 from the longest race even for Silver/Gold awards is fair to my way of thinking. Jmo
