A mate of mine just had the season (yb) of his life, the man he trains with had a very good season too, they were training their young birds in MAY this year along with the old birds, up to about 40mls. They both had heavy losses early on but when the chaff was gone they hardly lost a bird in racing, my mate Aldo go 21/21 in the first Consett and 19/19 in the second one, both races were nothing short of a disaster yet he got all of his both times. You might have thought it was good fortune the first time but the second time confirms his methods were superior to most, including myself I handled his doos through a couple of the races and they were built like Tanks, not BIG doos though they are of medium cast, all were on the darkness and i am looking forward to next year to see how they perform as yearlings
