It is my policy not to medicate doos, i inject against PMV when they are in the nest and they get a Half Canker tab when i wean them, after that if they go off then they are OFF. Would like to point out i don't get ybs, i've never had it in my loft, Never! I put this down to my medication ban and rightly or Wrongly i'll keep this ban in place.

If its crop is still full tomorrow that would do it for me, it would be off !

If it disnae perk up George get rid of it, i know your just getting doos together to get started but believe me the last thing you need is weak pigeons, survival of the fittest/healthiest is the way to keep them. Doctored doos are no use whatsoever to you mate.

Seeing is believing

I would just like to say this on the subject of losses. Breed 50, by racing time you'll have maybe 45, by end of season your likely to have say 30 left. By the end of the next season probably be around 15. Of these only 4-6 will have scored or bred something to go on to score, and by the end of the 2yr old season the 15 is now 5. How quick i get to that 5 makes no odds to me. Its not a matter of losing GOOD pigeons all the time, more often than not its the rubbish getting lost quicker than they otherwise would, but lost they will be no matter if its as yb y'lings or 2yr olds. JMO

Very Very well done to Budgie and his Partner George Kelly on winning the Lanarkshire Fed O/B Average, that is the second time in 3 or 4 years this loft has won the Major Trophy in the Fed. Congratulations to you both, fine fanciers and true Gentlemen the both of you, well Deserved

Had a Fife Yb drop in today SU 10 F 2573. I guess the owner will be glad to get it after yesterday,s race. ANYONE know who it belongs to lads??

Got 4 today taking me to 28/40. 2 of these are my B/B and LSC/CUMBRIA SC exchange doos, they compete for prizes next week so i'm delighted to see they 2. The B/B is usually for a few quid too

The doos were liberated into NO wind at Consett, that is straight from the controller who i trust implicitly

I absolutely believe that if you vote a race program in that is less than 60mls to the shortest flying member of your Fed, your just stoking trouble for yourselves. Young birds need time to sort themselves out in a race and 46mls isnae NEARLY far enough. JMO

At 5.30 i had 24/40 from Consett (104mls) if i get 30 by tonight i will settle for that. Good news is they are still coming, albeit knackered! No training for mine this week, they done enough today to see them through next week too. Glad to say i got my Social Circle exchange doo ok, hope Robert Frame still has mine

Just timed ma first 3 doos. Sure i seen John Dougal getting one at 13.43/44
