A don't know about that Rab, the 2 winters we had in 2010 and 2011 were a lot worse than the winter just passed, i was trying to drive around peoples houses both of those winters, but the winter just passed was a walk in the park by comparison. I was in discussion with a lady at work today, she has a small holding and according to her husband we are in for a VERY COLD winter. She claims he is NEVER wrong on matters of the weather, the Berries on the trees are plentiful and going by his theory that precedes a very hard winter ahead!!!

I dropped 1 today, wasn't at the lofts when they came back ( work ) but my Brother said they came well.

Agree with Tony, no 60 miles races, start from 80 to 100 and let the birds sort themselves out before they over shoot their lofts.

Aye MIK, ma doos have always been at ma mam's and that's the number i use when dealing with Pigeons. I do have phone number rings on my Yb's so maybe got my number from that. Am only racing 32 Yb's Wullie, wan was in amongst the Ob's and missed last week, had 31/31. Sent the 32 this week ( it wisnae pullin that one again ) with 30 home, thats 2/63 sent in 2 races. Mine are like Rags next to the Darkness Yb's too.

Got in from work tonight and my wee mam said she had received a strange phone call. Some guy with a Northumberland accent called the house looking for me, said he had his hands full of pigeon rings, told her one of the rings was SU 10 NE 40, he also said he got them from the falcons nest, she said to the guy i was working but if he left his number i would call back as soon as i got in, he hung up the phone!!! What's your best guess??
