  1. Lanarkshire are at Charnock Richards, 156mls to me if memory serves. Haven't seen a forecast for the weekend, anyone had a look??
  2. You need a Signed transfer form from Andy to transfer them, not just his details, i'm sure if you can get a phone number for him he will send one on to you. If you ring his club secretary he will probably have a phone number for him. Cheers John.
  3. How old are they at the moment Jimmy?
  4. Had a good blue pd hen who went into a loft in Ireland as a yearling and went on to win 1st club 5th open fed Sartilly at 2yrs old, but a still think as a rule of thumb ye canny depend on a doo that takes the easy option and goes into another loft for b&b. jmo and i know it differs from others, but hey we canny all be the same.
  5. Well done Franny, great win. It was a photo of the doo we wanted though, no the reult
  6. Got 19/21 on Sunday, nothing since. Last one on Sunday was 20.24pm, i like to see a Yb being determined not to sit out and i think this fellow is one of those type. Returns across the Fed appear to be excellent so well done to Davy Young for delaying 24hrs when controlling this race. I am not in the least biased but i think the way he has managed this Yb program so far has to be applauded
  7. Am no saying they aren't any use chad, just don't like my doos going into another loft. I know fine how some will follow the leader right to the loft, especially Yb's but it still leaves a doubt to their character in my head, rightly or wrongly. Though i think i'm right
  8. That's his 2nd win after topping the Fed the other week, Well Done Rab Ps. Yer doing well yersel Stuart, keep it going right to the Yb National.
  9. In 6 seasons I have had One doo via the stray centre and that was a yearling hen missing from the O/B season in 2011. Have to say I am pleased not to have them return this way, old or young birds.
  10. Well done Jamie on a good win. Have heard of 2 others doong 1176 but none to beat you so far. Well done again
  11. I knew they would find it tough because they are getting deep into the moult now George, but still no happy with the teams overall performance. Only shining light was my 2 LSC B/B's are back for next weeks race when the cash is up for grabs
  12. Yes well done Barry great win on a hard day for Yb's.
  13. I was disappointed to only have 20/25 on Sunday night. However i got 3 yesterday and another this afternoon making it 24/25. Still no pleased about 20% of my team laying out though.
  14. Never mind George, its a nice drive up that way.
  15. They can kill just about anything in the sky as the link shows, so i doubt very much they would starve. jmo. imo, it's too late to do anything at all about it, the government have no inclination whatsoever to change the law protecting them. For the Very Small number that are killed illegally. it will make little to no impact on the overall numbers across the country. I don't believe that Every corner of the country has been claimed territorially by resident peregrines, but when that day eventually arrives we must rely on mother nature balancing the books a little by evolving pigeons into something much more difficult to catch. In the meantime i will take it on the chin and carry on racing the pigeons who have been clever enough not to get hit by percy, maybe they are the start of mother nature's balancing act??? Ps. Theoretically your friend has a very valid point, the problem would be getting enough fanciers to breed less Yb's. I have downsized by around 30 Yb's this season, thinking quality over quantity an so on, to date i've lost about 7% of my team racing, 8% counting training. I'm interested to know what other fanciers %ages are, would think i was somewhere in the middle.
  16. Don't worry George, 24/33 will look great compared to some ye will get in the future!!! Ps. Zilch for me today, still 25/28.
  17. To my recollection we've never used that site, don't imagine we will either if returns are like that. Truly hope you's get a lot more work in today. atb John.
  18. Aye i just this minute seen those Gareth, still excellent flying though
  19. Never seen this yesterday, VERY WELL done tae Willie. Another fancier who's had a good season and keeping it going too
  20. That's not so good Brian, where were you racing from?
  21. None of my 3 turned up yet but the weather has been dismal all morning. Clearing up now so maybe some hope for them yet.
  22. I've raced on V/L this year, well i use the word "race" loosely.
  23. My Da had a wee saying "well for all the good it'll do them it won't do any harm". I'm dead against antibiotics so anything that MIGHT help is worth a go, at the money its no exactly skinning me either. Cheers, John.
