  7. Imo No, i keep waiting to see who is actually gonna get a clean hit at Mayweather, but he's the Master of defence, then puts their lights out at just the right moment, also imo, he is possibly one of the best EVER boxers.
  8. The one with the biggest prize money. If yer gonna try, yer as well trying to win as much ££££ as possible. jmo.

Aye she can do the Job alright, and passed it on to her offspring as well, great wee terrier.
  10. A doubt very much if we will see him in the ring again. It'll take a year for that jaw to heal sufficiently to box or even train with and he's no getting any younger. Also there is the mental side to dealing with an injury like that and a fighter with doubts doesn't win fights. Have to say that i agree Beltran won the fight but i was surprised by how closely all 3 judges scored the fight, granted a lot of Beltran's punches hit Burns' arms and gloves so wouldn't count, but he still had Burns on the canvass giving an automatic 2 point win to that round, yet they all scored the fight relatively closely. Would also point out that a great many British boxers have travelled abroad, punched the head off their opponent and come home defeated, if its good for the Goose.......

No he's a Bedlington Patterdale cross. He has the Bedlington coat but i clip him neat as i prefer that look to the curls. There is another litter from this pair just born, don't know hwo many she had though. This is him at 6 weeks.

This is the best PERMANENT remedy for unwanted pests, not all vermin choose to go OVER a fence. Nothing escapes him, large or small.
  14. Well done again Stuart, mind keep details of ALL your wins in case ye manage that we favour
  15. That's not a bad average, 25% belonging to PB members, hopefully some of the others homed too.

100% correct, no need for poisoning, take yer own wee dog over George and let him scent mark the garden and the fox will stay away. I done it with Max, after 2 visits the fox moved den across the road, cubs all shifted too. They might wander through scavenging but they won't take up residence again.
  17. Yes huge well done to Willie who has had a fantastic season. Been trying to contact Willie but no joy as yet. If you have a number for him Jamie will you PM it to me and I will get it after work? Cheers.
  18. Lmao Peter, enjoy yer carry out and if ye've any trouble with that Macallan gimme a shout and i'll come through and give ye a hand (mouth) to finish them off.
  19. Jim Cullen of Uddingston collected these birds from N/E England when working down there and libbed them as near as he possibly could to their local area's. SU 13 CA 2382 SU 13 F 3195 SU 12 DF 247 These birds were liberated at Newbridge SU 13 P 441 SU 13 E 224 These were liberated at Hermiston Gate SU 13 NW 3127 SU 13 AV 180 These 2 were libbed at Falkirk SU 13 L 10802 This one was liberated at Airdrie Fc stadium. Do any of these birds belong to you or your club and if so can you let me know if they returned to their own lofts.
  20. Happy birthday guys, have to say Peter disnae look 67 yrs old, must be about 77 i'd say
  21. Well done again Gareth, you've had them on the ball all season
  22. Actually it doesn't coincide with anything, i was just giving my opinion on what causes so MANY bad races, not the cause of isolated bad races that can happen any time of the season without there being any Obvious reason for it. My post clearly says it is NOT the transportation that is the problem however You clearly have an anti Lanarkshire viewpoint which provoked your response to my post before you took time to actually read what i wrote.
  23. Sorted Walter.
  24. Imo Davy the transporters are the least likely cause of bad racing. As you will know we have air conditioning in ours, even at that we will still have bad races from time to time. Also imo all the obstacles the birds have to get through to get home are on the increase, from predators to telephone masts, an increase in pylons and wind farms have a more detrimental affect on our birds. If transporters were the issue we would have experienced bad racing from the onset of road transport but really its only over the last 10→15 years that there has been a significant increase in losses by fanciers. Jmo.
  25. Think those are an example of the ones for sale shasha, Jimmy keeps Kenyon pigeons which are all darks and dark pied, he keeps them pure and the progeny of his originals are still evident in the Yb's on offer. As stated above the winning bidder will be delighted with them. Cheers.
