I'd sadly say that measured distances from

Race point to home loft are by all means a true guide to distance flown . But I often wonder how many miles flown out birds cover. Many who return in this condition. Have in all probability flown a nationa

l! I not saying all birds. I've seen lost racers going to bird tables for weeks for a few grains the sparras drop.takes weeks of this kind of feeding to regain enough strength to return home . If they want to ! That is ?

we had 18 from 20 on the day , which in itself is "good returns" these days it would seem . had 1 reported in Newcastle last night (Sunday) and the other waiting to get in this morning , all accounted for which is the first time this young bird season . :emoticon-0123-party:

Doesn't really surprise me that Lanarkshire has been slaughtered every week ,the convoy running the last 70 mls through them hills on there own , was this ever taken into account when this was voted for I don't think so.it's time to waken up guys WEST is BEST ?.DONT THINK SO.

got my 35th doo from 41 at 8.40pm last night, none this morning yet. Heard some really bad returns, poor race considering the weather seemed good.
