Delboy Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 shame on his fellow club mates, *expletive removed* disgrace letting anybodys doos go for that. Seemingly he had birds that had flown 500 miles too.
gulkie Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 A disgrace not even the price of a couple of leg rings.
Roland Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 A terrible shame. An insult to boot. I have a mate - pretty wealthy - that was moving to Spain. Has helped and given much money and funds, only too pleased to help, and even built a Transporter for the club to train the birds. Then took it upon his self to pay the man for taking the birds Race days. Paid for ALL the petrol etc. etc. Charged the Fed just £70.After a couple of seasons they bought their OWN transporter - second hand- etc. etc. and he only heard a few days before that he and his drivers wouldn't be needed. Then - he has given many birds away, and sponsored Invitations races from his own pocket. When selling up many member moaned that he should give his birds away - bought at great costs. Then would water it down to me after I kicked up a stink about the disgusting behaviour saying 'We meant it would do new Comer a ...'. 5 of us fed members turn up! I didn't want or need any birds ... I bought 5, including section winners parents and the family. I was embarrassed paying only £95! I went and spoke and he said 'Roly don't you dare offer me any more for them birds'! Now he may after 2 yrears be coming back. I hope he does a... and wipes the board with us all.
