i tried virkon, thought it was to hard prefer condy but just a smidge once a fortnight, hey whats your thought on mollasses, in the feed.

I do make up a boost with Honey in it though.

try mollases just a drop,mixe through the daily measure oncea week n see the diff thro moult,thro the year i give it the feather and overall condition is good, a wee tip ffrae my good frein wilson noble fae the broch.

I put half T/spoon molasses per 2 litres of water twice a week

Andy there is absolutely no similarity between potassium permanganate and Virkon.

Virkon is a sophisticated chemical.

Your post is misleading with good intent.

Virkon as far as i know is a disinfectant for surfaces ,Potassium permanganate was used for cleaning wounds and open sores on the body IMO,the latter i use but a cleaning agent i would keep for spraying the loft

Someone gave me a tiny little jar recently and i used some for the first time in years.

A little amount goes a long long way. Good stuff me thinks.
