Andy there is absolutely no similarity between potassium permanganate and Virkon.Virkon is a sophisticated chemical.Your post is misleading with good intent.
philg50 Posted September 23, 2016 Report Posted September 23, 2016 Virkon as far as i know is a disinfectant for surfaces ,Potassium permanganate was used for cleaning wounds and open sores on the body IMO,the latter i use but a cleaning agent i would keep for spraying the loft
