Muzza Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Hi, My name is Murray McPhie, AKA Muzza, from Bendigo, Australia. I have raced pigeons off and on for many years, mainly in my native New Zealand. I started racing in Australia last year after some years without them following our move to Oz. I found this forum a while ago, I find it very interesting. I look forward to some discussions on here. This is a picture of me with my good yearling cock 'The Diver' who won 2 and was second once from 3 races last season.

Muzza Posted April 9, 2015 Author Report Posted April 9, 2015 welcome on mate I suspect my name fits here? McPhie. My Dad was born in Glasgow, in 1925. His Family emigrated to New Zealand when he was a small boy. He was the youngest of a big family. They all went down the coal mines except him. Granny said 'Sonny is nae goin doon the pit'. So he didn't. He served in Japan after the bombs ended the war. After the war he married my mother, a beautiful woman from an Irish Catholic family. That caused some friction! So I am a Kiwi, living in Oz, half Scottish Protestant, half Irish Catholic! I was a jockey by trade, so I train the birds like wee race horses! I have a small loft, just a handful of birds, which I treat like Champions. Everyone hates me, because I win races, too many for a few birds. I love it! With best wishes from sunny Oz.... Muzza
