geordie1234 Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Can anyone tell me the race programme please?
peter2010 Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 The agm is on Saturday think it will be much the same as last year they only have 1 inland race which was Chelmsford then Reims Ancenis and Arras peterbourgh yb
Valiant Fifer Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Yup AGM this Saturday 1pm at Newbridge Bowling Club. Looks like Chelmsford or Billericay on 2oth June for inland National that's on the proposals, only one Inland National which is enough. The Gold Medal race will be almost certainly be from Reims on friday 26th June and trust me its a beautiful medal and wouldn't look out of place in anyone home, worth a few bob as well! Not sure if SNRPC are going to Ancenis this year, it depends on options. They might be convoying with someone or they might even consider going on their own to the longest race. However members will decide. The last Channel race will probably be Arras on Friday July 10th or 17th, again all these race points have still to be determined by the members! Forgot to say YB National is Scheduled for Sat 5th Sept from Peterborough, although again not set in stone. :D
Delboy Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 This club could have a lot more members this year I think if the SNFC don't clean up their act
Valiant Fifer Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 This club could have a lot more members this year I think if the SNFC don't clean up their act Possibly, time will tell Del, time will tell!
elanco Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Well I will be joining the snrpc this year because Nothing and I mean Nothing will be done regarding the farce that is the SNFC, sad times for this once great national.
VMS Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Member of both but will only be flying my birds in the SNRPC in 2015 due to recent events.
Valiant Fifer Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Member of both but will only be flying my birds in the SNRPC in 2015 due to recent events.Och don't tell us theres more trouble round the corner!
b.massey Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Also joining SNRPC this year.. Our club races joint with SNFC but I'll ne be there
geordie1234 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Report Posted February 10, 2015 How many can the snrpc convoy?
hotrod Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 How many can the snrpc convoy?Plenty room geo no probs about that .
Guest Jamsie Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Plenty room geo no probs about that . They'll need every inch of room to accomodate the deluge of fanciers who will send with them, the SNFC on the other hand will probably lose more than the £12,241 they lost in 2014 due to fanciers boycotting them. Quite right too. Imo
dal2 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Best of luck to all that are joining the snrpc hope you win loads
Valiant Fifer Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Well lads its 1 prize per 10 entries in the channel races and 1 in 5 in the longest race. The 1 in 15 for inland National was changed last year so now also 1 in 10. More birds more prizes up for grabs. ;)
alec guinness Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Best of luck to all that are joining the snrpc hope you win loads I think dal that all birds timed make the result but not sure if they win prizes?
Valiant Fifer Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 I think dal that all birds timed make the result but not sure if they win prizes? You only win a diploma if its an allocated prize m8!
dal2 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 I think dal that all birds timed make the result but not sure if they win prizes? Ye mate noticed velocity doon round 400. It wilnae matter to me
alec guinness Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 You only win a diploma if its an allocated prize m8! Ok m8,have no idea why all birds timed are published on the result though, which does not seem right with a national club, there are a lot of lads in my club who quote positions they have won in the snrpc which I know are incorrect due to the printed birdages.?
Valiant Fifer Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Ok m8,have no idea why all birds timed are published on the result though, which does not seem right with a national club, there are a lot of lads in my club who quote positions they have won in the snrpc which I know are incorrect due to the printed birdages.?I know what u mean m8. They maybe got a position on the result but if it isn't allocated or pro rata they don't win a diploma. However they all know that when they enter. :animatedpigeons:
geordie1234 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Report Posted February 10, 2015 Surely if your vel makes the result it gets published?
dal2 Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Surely if your vel makes the result it gets published?Prize/entry ratio George. They have one but all timers get published regardless of vel. Think that's right
hotrod Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Surely if your vel makes the result it gets published? It was spoken about it years ago when I was on the committee , most felt that as there was not that many birds sent they could put all/most birds on result ,but only 1/10 won a diploma , for the wee guy to time a bird even outside prizes it was good for him to see his name on result . Yes as hoody says some manipulate it , just like winning 1st club 1st 3bclub 1st fed is 3 first to some .
geordie1234 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Report Posted February 10, 2015 Prize/entry ratio George. They have one but all timers get published regardless of vel. Think that's rightAhh cool so ye could get published bt nae diploma?
