Guest bigda Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Ive laughed my azz off at some of the crap written on this thread. Everydays a school day and I learned a lot about folk I thought I knew.Once again I was blamed for something that is fek all to do with me and this time it was wanting the Lanarkshire boundary opened, lol. Behave yersels and grow up expletive remove, do you think I would even contemplate trying to suggest that with the shyte ive had over the years.Do you actually think everybody is desparate to join Lanarkshire? I was told by a supposed top fancier that even if the boundary opened I wouldn't even get a club ahahhaha. Im 6 years, soon to be 7 without a club and I laugh at folk that actually think this is a form of power stopping someone flying their pigeons. Its definately a mirror job for them. Im afraid you have all got me mixed up with someone that gives a fek lol.ps.Hats off to the top fliers in Lanarkshire that would've voted for the boundary to be opened. Its a pity that some actually listen to outsiders trying to manipulate Lanarkshire members just to feed their own sad twisted mental state. They ll never be doomen. ps. Anybody backing this shyte, dont ever think of including me in yer yearly annual yb sales , pmsfl at ye all.sorry their vote did not win the day, and had it happened i would have liked the kirky lads in to test your birds but i also believe yous would have held you own and would have been good members to have in our fed a know you would not have anything to do with this del just like all the lads and i know you all must feel sad as what is made out as if you are desperate to get in as you say not having a club puts you on the outside looking and i can read you are not to happy with what you have been reading i cant understand the lanarkshire will be the loser out of this by making you feel ostracised when you had nothing to do with any of it Edited November 29, 2014 by bigda

MIK Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 with all the doom and gloom, very few taking the sport up........ i find this SHOCKING. The fed IMO should have opened boundary to allow fanciers from outskirts who need fed and club to race. Fear of who comes aboard (unless trouble makers) shouldnt come into it lads. We all are grown men who love pigeons and the more competition the better...even 24 miles shocked and disillusioned for the future of Scottish pigeon racing atbMick
tommy bhoys Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 and i will tell you something else if it wiz up tae me you would nt be training you pigeons way lanarkshire fed either as they where trying tae fine clubs 50 quid today if baskets where short of birds as we dont have the capacity for there own fed members del a spade a spade big man

Big Davie Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 and i will tell you something else if it wiz up tae me you would nt be training you pigeons way lanarkshire fed either as they where trying tae fine clubs 50 quid today if baskets where short of birds as we dont have the capacity for there own fed members del a spade a spade big man TommyAs Del is a member of LSC then he is entitled to send his birds with Lanarkshire fed through a club but as he is outside the fed boundary then he can only compete for LSC prizes and can't compete for Fed prizes, so his birds are already on the transporter if he wishes to send them, this applies to other guys as well and not only Del. This arrangement has been in place for LSC members who are not fed members for as long as I can remember . With regards fining clubs the only problem with lack of room on the transporters is at race 2 and 3 where it was explained that their were many baskets that were not full ( 28 birds ) on the unit last year at race 3 which resulted in the officials having to hire another unit at short notice, my view is that for these two races it is not unreasonable for the fed to ask its member clubs to ensure that each full basket at these races contains 28 birds and that if needed their should only be a max of two short baskets at any club on a Friday night which would allow birds to be moved around at Uddingston to fill up short baskets, this has also been done for as long as I have been involved in racing pigeons if required which in my opinion is not a problem for old birds. I understand that as some clubs now own their own baskets then they may not agree with this but again the race is run and organised by Lanarkshire Fed and the baskets travel to the race point on the Lanarkshire transporters so as the race organisers they are or should be in a position to call the shots and if required fine persistent offenders, although I do agree £50 is excessive. You should also consider that outwith races 2 and 3 that Lanarkshire allow clubs , if they want, need only have 22 birds in a crate, however many clubs if they have short crates once all the birds are race marked will fill them up to the max to save a tenner for any short crates. Going back to the boundary, it was only proposed to extend it north by approx 3 miles to bring in guys whose birds are already on the transporter so for me I would have accepted it because at the rate the sport is losing members then in five years from now ( or less ) room on any organisations transporter will not be a problem in fact it will be the opposite as costs will spiral due to not being able to fill them. JMHO
Big Davie Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 del it wiz wiz me that proposed nt to open the boundaries and i stand by that if you dont like it im sorry but as i said before it would be like pissxxg into the wind for guys in west section As I said in an earlier post, for me if this proposal had been accepted It would not have made any difference to the west section but whilst we are on this subject you should have a look at a west section club where you are a member who have a member whose loft is located in the centre section who is competing for west section prizes !!! As you say a spade is a spade.

Scared of competition or wanting to keep Lanarkshire a wee club Sorry bt last year we voted to bring in the Airdrie club bringing FORTY members in with top top doo men with it expletive remove Airdrie is in the centre of Lanarkshire, ye had to let them in, because see if their was a way ye could've kept them out, ye would have. Thats a *expletive removed* fact. Back to what I said before, who gives a f kin monkeys.
Guest bigda Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) Got to laugh at some comments on here... Scared of competition or wanting to keep Lanarkshire a wee club Sorry bt last year we voted to bring in the Airdrie club bringing FORTY members in with top top doo men with it out of the 40 doo men as you say, they never had any trouble before with racing guys from kirky, so there vote should have been in favour for them to get in, as after all they are newbies themselves. they can't expect to get in, and then turn the whip on some others that to me is wrong and spiteful if they voted that way. Ill educate ye all Danny, when Kirky was in the Midland fed we sent 300 birds every week and were always 20-25 minutes behind Airdrie or Chapelhall EVERY WEEK until we got to the Open races from 260 mls onwards.Thats when we caught up, when the races were harder and longer. Its the same with Lanarkshire, 25-30 minutes behind Newmains every week. Now , what the fek is to fear there?? Total b...s..t being made up with folk with other agendas.
Delboy Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Don't know the vote kiddo, whens your agm ?
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 After 191 posts on this thread i hadn't commentated until now, mainly due to the fact that this is a Lanarkshire federation issue for the members to decide at the AGM, (now over), though not please with the outcome i am happy to look forward to competing against my fellow Lanarkshire members in 2015. Though i must say that it is pretty sad, there fanciers outwith Lanarkshire from a totally different region who were happy to come on here and stir trouble with negative comments. Amazing how some fanciers get there kicks. Black line was the proposed new boundaryRed line was the old (approx) boundary Black line to the north is the Campsie hills, after these hills there are no other fanciers.

Delboy Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Gareth, you have put that MAP up with my name on it and at no time have I intimated to you that the boundary should be opened to accommodate me or anyone else. So basically, ye are all out of order mentioning my name on this.
Guest bigda Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 so we are are taking about say 15 guys, about say 3 clubs shocking
