scott mca Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Yea Del to many empty pens i think but some birds which were there didnt get a bid aswell
Pego Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Stopped in at this sale today on way home from wee mans footy. Bought 2 at very good prices including 1 off this years Gold Cup winner.
Delboy Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 disgusting and embarrassing the prices of these ybs off the very cream of Scottish pigeons.
eastcoaster Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 Is a shame that they could not have put it off til evening but I,m afraid it has been going down hill a bit for a few years , a lot of the best flyers in Scotland did not put a yb in that tells you there is something not right , but well done all those that contributed to the nat.

Has it not been a success on the last few years?
geordie1234 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Maybe if the nat actually spent the money on something it would be better supported
moscow master Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 holding it at the wrong venue anti national imo
Delboy Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 holding it at the wrong venue anti national imo don't follow this Ricky?
moscow master Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 don't follow this Ricky?its just my opinion derck i think its git worse this past few years and when you read through the posts on here at times its not hard to work out
DJL Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 It should be more central or at least switch between East and West. It was unfortunate that several feds were racing today so members couldn't get to the sale. Maybe something for the committee to think about for the future
eastcoaster Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 Don't understand what ye mean mate? Has it not been a success on the last few years? All I mean is there are too many empty pens and as proved today £30 for a yb is not a lot and do think they should move the sale around to maximize. The buying potential . I was asked but don't consider my self or bird s good enough YET.

Delboy Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 The sale should be after all the racing is finished, its as simple as that. Its poor management imo.
ALF Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Dont think it helped the sale today when an old man got manhandled oot the hall and told to get to fook your barred oot this hall disgraceful...

ALF Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 ????? Apparently all to do with a disagreement with the guy that runs the stray centre for Lanarkshire a couple of weeks ago and the old guy got manhandled out the clubhut today because of it.It left a bad taste for a lot of people and i myself left before the sale started
