add the others started with 75 last night before crateing up had 35 sent 17 this week so till last night just under half the team am gutted thinking of giveing them up cant gat to the bottem of this and the time and evert i pout in to get this sh ite its not worth it

jeez Tan there 100s wid be happy to have 35 left after this season and 17 to send lots of folk doon to there 2% weeks ago all over the country . you will still finnish well above the 98% lol

i ment to add all these yb that had the tickets where lost last week if it was only the normal 6 races thay would have been winterd up and would have picked 10 for the yb national out of the others that where laft but not now

Got to say I agree wae Rab Tam. 50% of ybs is great this year. I have 26 out of 46 I started training.

 

I won a race one weekend lost the same pigeon next..........................thats happened countless times over the years

can see where your coming from,u bred 75, all that time pairing up,feeding.weaning training,a big effort to get them ready for racing,but 50% is good compaired to some,who were game over after 3 races,

I had 67 for training 55 to the first race... had 30 home at my 5th race the feds 6th then stopped

sickness is the bigest broblem in yb raceing my birds are tested every 4 weeks now

Sorry for your losses, but in ayrshire we would say that's good, I started young bird season with 80 finished the season with 12left and that's me missed the last race due to the moult,

2 things which would make big differences against comparing to most fed in Scotland is Lanarkshire fed has had had 7 races so far and everyone has had west in the wind most being north west so racing has been a lot harder than usual but jmo

Well I bred just under 80 I've stopped 57 natural most had the 1st 4 but everyone had at least 3 races I started with 17 darkies and I've got the last 9 out between 2 races this weekend and that was me losing 3 last week and they were up there every week also t he darkies have hardly missed any training or races

66 out of 80 is exceptional flying well done

up until today I had 26 left from 46. I have only got room for so many old birds so sent 14 on today.....thank fook I didnt send the lot

That's why I stopped my 30 Dal nose ender grafted home they done their bit

Agree we you Tam sickness is the big problem but the biggest problem is fanceirs still sending knowing fine well they are sick but cause they look alright they still send them JMHO

Think it is all over but you seem to be really badly hit with losses...Iknow east and west have bad returns though so cant comment as i stop mine after 100 miles as they are natural...
