square_peg Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 seen something today I have never seen in 40 yrs of keeping doos waited all day from maidstone saw 2 doos coming to our loft 4 yr old c with wellie boots cacked in mud yearling c had a pink face with the rain.....where was the rain today ? handled both doos at back of 8 fresh as paint

Birds were falling in everywhere from Buckingham But forgot it was centre of the uk
JohnS Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 A common sense approach is required when racing pigeons from these distances, the larger the convoy the better instead of a small convoy. The Lanarkshire pigeons should have been with the SNFC and it would have helped returns.small convoys are no use racing from these distances and never will be, people moan about basketing locations etc and hassle but its the pigeons who should come first and doing what's best for them and pigeons in the area.
