Commonwealth games in Glasgow

My late father,Bill Cowie won this in 1970,when

Games were held in Edinburgh

I have one aswell but from the games in edinburgh. Will try and hunt it out. Wee mealy hen won it i am sure

Had a look in the archives and discovered the Tayside Federation Commonwealth Games Diploma was won by D & D Coull, Inverbervie for winning the last young bird race from Burtonwood

I know there were Commonwealth medals competed for in the past, a former clubmate of ours A&D Auld won gold for the highest velocity into Scotland on a given Saturday ,I think it would be in 1986.
