Hamilton Lofts Torched

Cheers guys I managed to get a wee bit of work done to the loft front today got the verandah off and all the bowl holes that were made of perspex and had melted to the loft of just need to strip all the burnt wood off and replace it once I can get the wood up

Cheers guys might need to have a planned fire the morra just to get rid of a lot of the wood that is half burned in my run to give me some space

The wife just came in and handed me £50 that she just won on a scratch card 30 mins ago so i will need to go to B&Q in the morning to get some tools nails a saw etc as they were all gone in the fire...maybe our luck is on the way up a wee bit again? It certainly couldnae get any worse than this week i tell you...

The Clearance sale of the late Alistair Murdoch of Johnstone is on in the Kilbarchan club room tomorrow 13:00 for 14:00 and I would think his loft will be for sale, I don't know the exact size but it must be around 16' - 18' by 6', if this is any help.

Thanks for that but to be honest i am just thinking of getting my big loft sorted just now as it is my main priority in time i will think about another loft or a shed for my baskets but just now getting the big loft sorted has to be my main aim

i have to say thanks a million to Stevie Blackhurst for meeting me at coxydene yesterday with a good bit of stuff to help me get back on my feet your a star mate and a big thanks to Hotrod tae who has just dropped off tools including a hammer saw silicone tape measure crow bar silicone gun and screws and nails...He came through to Hamilton which must be 35 mls from his house at 10.30 tonight cheers mate your a star

Alan, what is the full extent of the damage? I know your loft has damage, but is repairable, but how are your birds? What about the two other lofts? Are they both completely destroyed?

There seems to be a lot of offers from individuals, but I haven't heard of any organised help which seems to have happened in the past.

I my yb loft and almost all the yb's in it apart from 2 John lost every yb and all his old bord bar 2 pigeons really gutted for him...

 

And yes i have had plenty of offers from people and it is any less than i would have done for anybody in the same boat as me!!!!
