hotrod Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 With the easy option this week how many are sending and how many are you sending , with s,east winds forecast and great weather I'm thinking of sending 4 , an 8 yr old hen , 3x 3 yr olds .
hotrod Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 4 yearlings and a 2 year oldI stopped my yearlings earlier Gary thought they had plenty tough races under their belts , then I've took a hit with my 2 yr olds lost a few and a few hit by Percy . So it's the older doos going , don't want to wait another week or two in case they go off .
geordie1234 Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Have a 2 year old and 2 yearlings for it but lo and behold I need to go to a family dinner at half 6 on saturday plus im working until half four. Its shouldn't be a prob getting someone to time a pigeon if I get one. Dont really want to send if its no me going to be clocking my doos
andy Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 1 x 4 y-old, 2 x 2 y-olds, 2 x yearlings all cocks. Good Luck all.
yeboah Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 What would be your guess where birds would hit land from this one
Guest bigda Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 I used to support the great football team from there regular and never remember seeing the North Sea ? lol just hoping the wind is in our favor, and they get blown there quickly as that is the area the birds know the best, all our races are from around that way Ipswich is where i think they will head for.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Felixstowe, 74 miles of water, this providing conditions are very good, which according to the forecast, is just how its suppose to be.

bullcock Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 All our potential Ypres birds were at Maidstone, poor return, therefore none for Ypres, disappointed it has been a good race for us, good luck to all who go.
