I hope lanarkshire goes west next year and if they did I would hope they started at Appleby I've had 8 home from races down the east which have been hit by Percy so I personally think going down the west can't be any worse

Well they had their meeting and we are going to APPLEBY woopee apparently only airdrie voted to go to worcester , personally very disapointed and would be interested in the fauldhouse mens reaction .

Me personally gutted not going to Worcester was supposed to be gold cup and tours birds last race before setting them up .due to working shifts have to rely on other members helping me out for race marking. Could have asked the solway fed to take to Cheltenham but that sounds to easy

I got 2 Ck's back on Saturday and both have only a Handful of feathers left in their tails. For the Politically minded, I'm no saying anything about the big losses or the cause of them!! i'm only stating a fact. On the upside, their tail feathers growing will bring them right into condition for the end of next month.

^{Tell you's what, go out tomorrow andpull one of the under side feathers from your birds' tail and come back on in 4 weeks and tell us all what condition they doos are in compared to those that are left alone. Trust me i wouldn't put something like this up for a Wind up, it's far too serious for that when you hit the Channel races.}

Would you think that the rest it got at home while growing a new tail brought it into condition?

Could very well be a possibilty mate and to be fair ive got five doos with alencon in mind I doubt I will be going down the loft ripping there tail oot lol but it has been done and the doos goes on to do well.

Your spot on John, when a pigeon loses its tail, as soon as it comes back in its like a blood transfusion to it. It will be in top condition.Im not sure I would pull feathers out to achieve this though.

i have never heard that one before ,but i have heard the canary men pull the full tail out of the canaries six weaks before a show, the reason for it the tail grows a half inch longer giving the bird a better stance
