Its time to make some decisions on the candidates, this week cold but clear next week anknown but 100 miles approx??

Sure their will be other fanciers out there in the same predicament so whats your thoughts???

Stick or twist? too cold or too far? Are the 2yr olds the big concern?

Loft fit enuff for a cold 70miler or 100 mile too big a jump straight in for first go?

If I dont get my naturals in this week were at 177 miles the week after. They've all got to go I'm afraid.

Have yearling cocks driving, hens will be eggy. Our race programme had to be re-jigged due to the weather and this is the consequence

how far you going andy if your birds are reasonably fit and healthy they will be ok m8 anything in dout does not go

Although the weather for tomorrow is a tad dodgy, I still intend to send the 15 birds I had originally selected to go, if they are fit enough then they go in my opinion. How can we guarantee that next weekends weather will not be the same, we then end up jumping birds into this less than ideal weather. JMO

Good luck to you folks, what ever you decidehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/animatedpigeons.gif

last week our forecast was not fabulous but not too bad but we decided to send them all as they were fit and healthy as there is no guarantee for the week after and so on as if you keep waiting for the right weather they could be in the loft all year, they have to go at some point and as fortune had it we had a lovely warm day last Saturday but same again they are all going tomorrow and than after they have had 2 races we will pick and choose as want everything 2 years and up all set for going to Carentan in a few weeks :animatedpigeons:
