how many birds to a crate danny 25 ? x 80 crates = 2000 birds

i thought that it would be bigger ?

 

i think did you lads not have 6000 or 7000 y/bs at a race a couple of years ago

no what i was wanting was the body to get taken of and being able to fit hired trucks remember, but we still have a few thing to sort out as drivers with trailer experience class 2 min are rare as hens teeth and insurance costs can double the cost bigda as is

davey 2 trailers but not sure if both the same size giving us about 6,000 plus birds

just a step in the right direction but since we are going with the nat maybe these will sit in a yard for 3 races lol

Wee have 2 and 2 trailors

i know george was just wondering about capacity

and how much the trailers would hold

 

plus the fact i pictured them in my mind a lot larger

 

we have one in aberdeen with a capacity of around 1500 for oldbirds

and 1900 youngbirds

if im wrong im sure i will get corrected

I may be wrong but im sure the trailors take 1500 each

2 trucks 80 = 160

1 trailer 64

1 trailer 48

Total 272 crates x 28 for fed = 7616 pigeons

where is the driver convoyer going to sleep??

Peter the other transporter has a convoyers room with two bunk beds within.

well done the lanarkshire fed, a real credit to you a step in the right direction as far as the welfare of the pigeons is concerned :emoticon-0136-giggle: back to the dark ages for us i'm afraid come april! :(
