Tony C Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 Have you set your goals for this year? Have you a yearling that you have high hopes for? What would you consider to be a good year by your own standards? Not long to go now folks, all the best for this years campaign.

Not long to go now folks, all the best for this years campaign. dont set any goals now unfortunatly in about 4 weeks when start to let birds out to exercise gauranteed a whole pile will go awol with bop round the loft and at the few trainers they get and lot of best ones will get taken aswell , par for the course hear now , used to pick birds for the longer races and set them up but you can pick them but often there dead by time first race comes far less last , pissin against the wind and getting very wet
Guest H@wkBait Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 im gonna win the pb breeder buyer
demolition man Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 Win with some essex blood your got enough of it:: :emoticon-0123-party:
geordie1234 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 Well I don't really know what to expect this season to be honest. After three loft moves in as many years I have a team of pigeons but lack experience all raced as young birds and were trained well. In a few weeks I plan to part the sexes after one round of breeding I will then fly roundabout and here's hoping they all go week in week out. I will pair what's left for the longer races and see how we go!! A successful season for me would to have at he end of the season have a handful of pigeons that I can happily winter with no question marks hanging over their ability and maybe a few cards along the way. With the youngbirds this year they will be trained well and take the racing as it comes!! All the best guys I really hope we all can have good racing up and down the country

And try got the season and have something at the end of it so good YB racing. Not bothered about winning YB but want them to show something and i'll be a very happy lad
JohnQuinn Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 I'm hoping to make the Fed Open Race results, the nearer the top the better On top of that i would like to win a Social Circle race from the Channel and score in the Nationals that i enter. Pretty much the same every year to be honest, problem is, it's jist no happening often enough!! but i got ma self a good Mirror so maybe this year will bear fruit
blaz Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 watch my best yb team from last year turn in to my best yearling team this year.
TheHigg Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 trying for a silver award this year with my 2 year old hen in the SNFC if i can keep her till then and any other decent result that comes along
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 One Track mind! Everything focused on the two inland SNFC nationals and if our team of 8 come through that hopefully one or two over the water for our first time in 20 years. Would like to do well in the SNFC Yb national again but trying something completely new with yb's this year so could fall flat on ourfaces but if that happens will revert to tried and tested means. Hoping for a good breeding season, eggs due in about 5 days. All the best to everyone for this season. Andy
