yes Ian , seen that ,which also has the S.N.F.C. race listed , but you said thats not confirmed .it may list both ,but doesnt state either are confirmed as of yet ? i have heard some of the boys in the N.E.H.U. arent happy with a joint convoy ? saving the major"juice" session for the coming weekend :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0136-giggle:

what u saying !!, that its not black & white about going with the SNFC & UNC ?

As far as i can see, there is no birdage limit in the SNFC and also for that matter the UNC, so cant possibly see how they can turn away pigeons from one loft.

The problem Gareth is the logistics of it, Musselburgh couldnt handle marking all of these extra pigeons,we have neither the time nor space to put these all through. Its hard enough getting people to mark the birds we get.

I never understood why the national stopped using Easthouses club for marking ample parking hall seats 220 only asked to put a donation to oaps the national gave £150 for 7 races no cleaning bill they were going to buy lights for marking yet we go to muss have to drive through a housing scheme limited parking small hall dont know what they charge but it wont be less than £150 i have never understood the logic in it

Yes, Billy was just up from Geraldy, could easily have missed it as there were no large banners. Believe he done good business with new entrys each day.

What I see is birds accepted between 1 March and 14 April and the birds have to be 30 to 40 days old. If you don't have the eggs by 24 February the games a bogie.

By the way I'm sure it said originally birds accepted between 1 and 30 March and as such I passed.

any one know what the latest entry is, and fast the loft maybe filling up?

it will be made avalable nearer the time i think they are getting the loft built in a brick skin they will need it well nailed down as it can be rough down there, I think they are awaiting the go ahead from the council, once that is approved it will be up within 2 weeks as i belive all is ready to go. wish them all the best, they might have that as i type

looks like the SNFC national has missed out on a good trailer as billy has the use of it now

or bought it, must say looks like this one loft race is looking like a struggle to get up and running, will they still garantee the £27,000 first prize if they did i think i would have a stab at it but not to shure of the 100 perches per section though a time bomb

Posted

It was never a guarantee for the prize fund as see below the statement on the web site and race rules.

*prize fund not guaranteed and is based on 1000 birds entry

looks like its not going to make its target that is a tall order 1000 birds maybe it needs that to complete the program i think it would be a better option if you regesterd a bird that was still there come the last race 350 mile that is even late for a darkie doo

to hold its flights they would need to keep the lights on as it is dark at 7-30 pm come september
