mushroom Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 I was at the Stafford lib site when birds went up,they never even took a turn, straight out and headed north it was good to watch, there was only one pigeon that did not want to leave the basket a cheq cock that seemed to be on its last 2 flights and a gap in the centre of its tail, I then drove down to Gretna the weather was excellent all the way, sunshine and broken blue skies with high cloud and good visibilty, and not one drop of rain hit the windscreen, it started looking darker from Gretna onwards. Well done to the convoyer and the race controller and all who sent.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Returns turned out excellent for some 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, 4/5, 6/7, 4/6, but for others including myself it was not so good, 9/20. Thanks to all the fanciers that supported the race, its a little disappointing that the race itself, was not as good as i had hoped for with many fanciers not timing on the day, this partly down to the later liberation which was unavoidable. I hope to have the result done and online by tomorrow night possibly Tuesday. Pools and prizemoney are approx £1450.00
