Just wondering I can never locate Stobs camp on Google Earth.

Can someone tell me a larger town it is close to or describe the location.?

The reason I am interested is that we (Ayrshire Federation )are at Hawick this week and next.

You answered your own question. Stobs Camp is a former WW1 Army camp south of Hawick. There's a web page for it. :-

That helps to explain why Google Earth takes me to WW1 photos in Surrey.

Good though our birds may be we have not reached that distance yet.

nothing yet, i would hope somebody will approach angus fed for transportation for a sunday race, at least as a standby the now if our lorry cant be repaired... its a great weekend and nobody wants to miss a race, but quite sure our levy money will be put to good use??
