my nephew a young fancier and pigeon daft and a real descent person had a few snidey comments made to him while at the race marking at ypres with the snfc about competing with the snrpc these guys should take a long hard look at themselves how are we going to get young fanciers into the sport with an attitude like that you blame hawks the weather etc for our declining sport we in coalburn hs have young fanciers in our club because we encourage them not bring them down you should be saying to him well done for competing in every race that you can

Well said mr mathieson.... I also find pigeon men are a bigger problem than anything else! How ever its only a small minotiry! I am thick skinned and laugh them off. Everyone is free to fly where they want and keep what ever type pigeon they want! There are just as good fliers in snfc as in snrpc.

sorry to hear of this malcolm ,me personaly i sent to ypres/snfc the first time since the split ,i saw many members there that fly in both ( even the ex senior vice president)i was made welcome and never heard any snide comments (i even spoke to big gareth about his late dad) i wish i was there when andrew sent i would have sorted they daft fkrs out with a few words of wisdom . as someone else has posted about a bad apple .dont let these idiots win .

you fly your birds where you want always there are no restrictions to flying in both codes agree with john that its probably nearing the time where the two nationals should probably fly together this is based purely on the sensibilty rather than one being better than the other at the end of the day the snfc hardly covered its self in glory with the man from avonbridge fiasco to which the membership have never had a satisfactory explanation

very sad that some one could say that to any one its a pity that there are 2 national clubs as 1 is no better than the other as there are quality fanciers in both hopefully in the near future the 2 clubs will join together and the best will be competeing against the best and a true national club will once again be in Scotland JMO
