dal2 Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 Poor John, hope he went peacefully!! He was always very kind with his advice when I was wee and still gave me plenty when older. He used tae keep me on my toes asweel. When video recorders first came oot he had tae have yin and I was back and forward to Violetbank for weeks trying to get him to work it :emoticon-0136-giggle: Dont know if he evry fully got the grasp of that machine but he certainly had the grasp of the doos? RIP John mate hope they have SKY+ in the big hoose!
yeboah Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 I was shocked to learn of Jock's passing from a friend tonight ,Jock was a Legend in his own lifetime along with his late brother Matt,Jock along with Matt once came up to Moffat and judged our local show Lockerbie RPC ,and while in conversation he told me that he picked out the winner first time round because he judged a show many years previous and tried to kill time going round the birds a few times ,he told me that was a big mistake as the more you handled them they all felt the bloody same,Thoughts are with his Family at this sad time, Michael Currie & Family Moffat.
