alex wight Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Credit where credit is due and good to see a major improvement on info given to us. Well done As i said yesterday, we are all human, and we all learn by our mistakes. Well done to the SNFC for making progress.
Henrik Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 this is where delay in basketing should be brought into effect, what stops us from basketing on a saturday for a monday race when other organisations seem to do it no problem,do we hire halls, drivers etc?if not and it's all pigeon clubs that are used for basketing i don't see the problemThat is the problem. Halls have to be booked for basketing in advance.

Its a no win situation for everyone concerned. Our weather this year has been hellish to say the least.

dawdoo Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 there appears to be a few inexperienced fanciers on this thread.
knoxjn Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 am disappointed as will miss birds coming home again as have to go to work but have ets and if its not right for everyone then holdover is the right thing to do
blaz Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 i can,t see birds going up today looking like a monday lib http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/maidstone Again, it's a guess, and all depends on which forecast you look at. This one shows a clearing / improving picture from 1000 onwards, except Aberdeen & North of Scotland which clears around 2000? Race Controllers will have much more to go on than this though. http://www.forecast.co.uk/ the birds will go about 930 jmo Birds should be up 10am jmo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1_NGtbj0KY&feature=fvst :emoticon-0127-last link is a good 1
PATTY BHOY Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 If weather is bad on route the well fair of the birds should always come first. Theres been enough birds lost this year already.
